Students have exposure to a state of the art computer laboratory and with our philosophy of one computer per student you are guaranteed to always have a computer available to you.

BTH employs true specialists in their field. We ensure that teaching staff not only have theoretical knowledge of courses offered but have a solid base of industry experience. This gives students the opportunity to get a very real idea as to what the industry is like.

BTH Education will provide students with all necessary study material including textbooks, reference books, and study guides. Students will also be able to keep selected study material. BTH also gives students access to a large online library available in the recourse center on campus. 

 

Class sizes

At BTH Education we restrict the number of students that are enrolled on each academic programme, so that small classes sizes are maintained and individual attention from lecturers maximized. Studies have shown that a student will perform better academically in an environment where the class size is reduced, thanks to a increased lecturer-student interaction.

Shorter Courses

Diplomas offered at BTH Education group are relatively short and focused. This not only means that students can graduate sooner and start looking for employment sooner, it also means that the skills they acquired during their studies are more likely to still be relevant to the IT industry by the time they graduate.

There is a maximum allotted days for each course. At BTH Education we adopted the Mastery Learning Methodology (MLM). This enables students to pace their studies to suit their experience and ability. This gives students the ability to focus on sections that they find challenging and progress quicker through other sections. Monthly progress reports keep both students and parents/sponsors fully updated with students' progress.

We believe that the Mastery Learning Methodology (MLM) is up to 300% more effective than traditional classroom methodologies at promoting skills retention.
