The aim of this unit is to allow existing or new network technicians to show that they have the knowledge and skills required to perform a wide range of IT-related tasks in the field of network installation and support. It is intended for anyone wishing to qualify for the CompTIA Network+ certification.
This unit will help the learner understand the concepts behind and the operations of new and existing technologies, infrastructure, services, and standards that make up networks today. Based on the knowledge gained in this unit, the learner will be able to plan, design, and build networks as well as identify and troubleshoot problems and security issues that may arise.
The learner will be provided with the necessary theoretical and practical skills to create and maintain a network.
